Biography
Rich Dase has given a great deal of his life to public service, from assisting people to resolve problems as a member of the staff of U. S. Congressman Frank LoBiondo, to his service on the Galloway Township Council and the Atlantic County Board of Chosen Freeholders, to his current role as a seventh grade social studies teacher at the Galloway Township Middle School.
Rich has been a resident of Galloway Township his entire life and
currently lives in the Township’s Pinehurst section. He has one son,
Ayden Alexander Dase
In 2005, he received the highest number of votes of the eight candidates for Township Council. In 2007, he was elected to the Board of Chosen Freeholders.
He is the chairperson of the Board's County Code Review Committee and Grant Overview Committe and also is a member of the following committees: Roads and Bridge, Pinelands Review, Renewable Energy Task Force, Greentree Golf Course, Human Services, Media and Communications, Election Procedures Review Committee. Additionally, he is the Freeholder representative on the followign Boards/Commissions: Atlantic Counthy Special Services Board of School Estimate, Cultural and Heritage Advisory Board, New Jersey Association of Counties (Second Alternate), Parks and Environment Advisory Board.
He has been a member of the Galloway Police Athletic League and, in keeping with his commitment to serving others, coached PAL basketball for 13 years. He is also a member of the Elks Lodge.
In his spare time, Rich is a freelance advertising copywriter.
